MORE BOOKING INFO
Deposit: A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of booking for all reservations.
Payment: Your final payment is due 60 days before your arrival date. If you book within 60 days, full payment is due at the time of booking.
Payment can be made by credit card through the reservation system.
Guests are also welcome to pay by mailing a check to High Camp Hut PO Box 2226, Telluride, CO 81435
Cancellations: If you cancel BEFORE the final payment due date, we will issue you a credit for the amount you have paid, excluding the $500 deposit. The credit will be valid for up to one year from the original arrival date.
If you cancel AFTER the final payment due date, no credits will be given. However, if we can rebook your canceled reservation days, we will issue you a credit valid for up to one year from the original arrival date—excluding the $500.00 deposit.
Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
Gear Hauling
For those wanting to lighten their load, we offer a gear hauling service:
*We especially recommend this service for groups traveling with children or staying multiple nights
Gear Haul In: $200 per group (1:00 p.m. meet-up at parking area)
Gear Haul Out: $300 per group (11:00 a.m. departure from the hut)
Please sign up when you make a reservation or let us know at least two weeks advance of your stay. However, if you have additional questions or concerns please contact us directly.
Our Can-Am Defender can typically accommodate all the necessary gear for 12 people. Please pack in soft-sided duffle bags or backpacks, keeping individual bags under 40 lbs. Insulated bags and sturdy boxes work well for food storage.
